Not booked your flights just yet?
Our preferred airlines
These airlines allow dogs to travel in the hold - which is what we need for most of our dogs. Only very small dogs can travel in the cabin. If you've not already booked your flights, one of these five airlines would be ideal*.
Aeroméxico
Air Canada
Viva Aerobus
Volaris
West Jet
Other options
These airlines ONLY allow small dogs and require that they travel in the cabin with passengers. Strict size limits - all animals must fit in an under-seat carrier - mean that the majority of our rescue dogs are too big to travel with these companies.
American Airlines
Delta
United Airlines
* We have no affiliation or relationship with these companies. They are listed here solely because they currently accept dogs in the hold.

We have omitted airlines with infrequent scheduling or who do not operate direct flights. If you have queries about a particular airline or routing, just get in touch.

Sometimes there are temporary or small-print reasons why airlines refuse to carry a dog. These can range from cargo capacity to destination temperature, so we can never 100% guarantee a flight you book will accommodate a dog. Our recommendations are based on ensuring the greatest probability of a match between rescuer, dog, adopter, flight escort and airline.
